Review

Synopsis:
Atticus Finch is a lawyer whose conscience drives him to defend a black man falsely accused of assault in a society where no black person could expect to be treated as the equal of a white person and into which Harper Lee was born. The events are seen through the eyes of Atticus's young daughter Scout.

Author Harper Lee died earlier this year so this is a timely opportunity to revisit, in her honour, this fantastic and popular novel.
